As of 2009, the Group’s Road Building Equipment Division consists of four independent business units:

1. Road machinery, including road building machines (rollers, paver-finishers, planers, stabilisers, etc.),  are exclusively managed by BOMAG. At the industrial level, BOMAG designs and manufactures its products in four countries: Germany, United States, Italy and China. These  products are sold through 500 points of sale.

2. Mixing plants (hot-mix, cold-mix, batch-mix and continuous plants, plus stabilisation and recycling plants in fixed units). This unit consists of the MARINI, ERMONT and SAE  brands and benefits from an independent worldwide network, with most of the production originating from four factories situated in Italy (Alfonsine), France (Lorette and St-Benoît-la-Forêt) and China (Langfang). AES, specialising in electronics and automated systems, is the preferred supplier of the manufacturing companies belonging to this unit.

3. The Road maintenance equipment is a new, entirely separate division which includes the activities of three brands and three factories: BREINING in Germany, RINCHEVAL in Soisy-sous-Montmorency (France), and SECMAIR in Cossé-le-Vivien (France). This specialist business unit offers the largest range of equipment and solutions ever offered by a single organisation in the road maintenance sector.

4. Environment  technologies, including sweeping, form part of a business unit dedicated to environmental solutions in the widest sense of the term. MATHIEU designs and markets its own equipment and those of the RAVO  brand. 3D markets SCARAB, the leader on the market for truck-mounted, high-output sweepers, and a company with which the Group has a special global agreement.
PTC, a brand specialising in top-of-the-range foundations equipment, is also attached to this business unit.
